I also published a non fiction book and a mystery novel.With the growing popularity of the internet I began to work for online media as a freelance journalist, and eventually started to build entire web sites. This emerged into a successful business on its own. In 2004 I gave up my newspaper work – except for the odd job now and then – and started The Site Builder Studio which laid the foundation of Jong Internet. SERVICESWhat are the services you provide?Click here for an overview.Is a Site Build It! subscription included in your services?No. You have to order SBI! separately. If you order SBI! here, you will get a free $200 value bonus.How long does it take you to work on my web site?It depends on the service you order, the complexity and the size, and on my workload.When you order a complete web site, such as the starter or deluxe package, I will indicate beforehand how long the job is likely to take. You will also know when I will be able to start. Separate webmaster services as those listed under “other professional web design services” are usually performed within two weeks after payment. I will let you know in time if I expect a delay. I don’t have Site Build It! Can I still ask you to build my site?The Site Builder Studio exclusively works with clients who own SBI!. The level of success they can achieve with SBI! is simply unmatched. It's the best way of getting happy, satisfied clients.Do you build English-language sites only?No, I can build sites in all Latin-character European languages. However, I only create content in English and Dutch, so for other languages you will have to provide the text.Also note there are certain limitations to creating an effective site map in languages other than English, because of a lack of reliable keyword tools in other languages. Nevertheless, Site Build It! has already proven to work well with sites in Spanish, German, Dutch, Icelandic and other languages. Do you translate web sites?I can translate web sites from English to Dutch, from Dutch to English, and from German to Dutch and English. Can I contact you by phone?The Site Builder Studio is a web-based business and I prefer to communicate by e-mail. By doing so, I give better service to my clients as I can fully concentrate on my clients’ sites without getting interrupted by a ringing phone.E-mail keeps my costs down and this is passed on to you through lower fees. Besides, my clients live in many different time zones (from California to Australia) so speaking on the phone at a time we are both awake and functioning could be hard to organize. I take pride in good customer service so I try to answer questions by e-mail extensively. My experience has proven it’s not necessary anymore to meet face-to-face or by phone to conduct a successful business. PAYMENTSHow can I pay for your services?Fees under $1,000 should be paid in advance.Fees between $1,000 and $2,000 are paid 50% at the start and the balance when 60% of the agreed number of pages have been built. Fees over $2,000 are paid one third at the start, one third halfway and the balance when 90% of the agreed number of pages have been finished. Payments are possible with PayPal, Visa or MasterCard. Is it secure to pay you online?Payments are handled by PayPal, one of the leading payment processors on the net. PayPal uses state-of-the-art technology to protect your personal information and credit card details.Will I get an invoice for my records?You will receive an invoice if you order a complete web site (like the starter or deluxe package) or more than one of the “other professional web design services” listed on this page.Payments are handled by PayPal. They will e-mail you a receipt for each payment you make. This is your proof you paid for the service. I advise you to print and save this receipt for your records. Do you charge Value Added Tax?No, unless you are located in Sweden. As The Site Builder Studio/Jong Internet resides here, we are obliged to charge VAT to Swedish clients.Can I pay by bank transfer?Clients who reside in the European Union may also pay by bank transfer. My international bank account number (IBAN): BE23 3200 1172 9491. The bank (BIC) or Swift code: BBRUBEBB. Account holder’s name: De Jong, Älmeboda.Can I send you a check?Checks sometimes get lost in the mail and take long to process, which may delay the work on your site. Therefore I prefer PayPal or credit card payments. However, if a check is the only option for you to pay for my services, you can use it, but please contact me beforehand.Can I pay in euro instead of US dollar?If you live in one of the euro countries you can pay in euro, if preferred. Please Contact me and you'll get a price based on the current euro-dollar exchange rates.I have received your invoice but have trouble paying you right now. What should I do?Contact me and we’ll sort it out.Please note that all unpaid balances shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month until fully paid. Can I get a refund?Well, this is not really a frequently asked question... In fact, no one ever asked me.
